We are here to help the people you care about overcome their drug and alcohol addictions.
Most families today have a loved one or know someone who suffers from alcoholism or drug addiction. Many have tried to confront the individual with their drinking problem or drug problems. Time and time again family members are told that "I dont have a problem with my drinking or handling my drug useage. I can stop using if I really want to." Sound familar? It's called denial and until you contact a professional interventionist to help you perform an intervention, it usually only gets worst.
These interventions are usually successful and they often go into a drug and alcohol treatment program and learn how to live life without the use of these substances. The purpose of interventions is to get substance abusers out of denial and show them the ways in which their disease is affecting the people they love the most. With the help of an intervention specialist and loved ones, the intervention process does not have to be painful, but can be the beginning of a new way of living for all those involved.
Most interventions work when done under the guidance and supervision of a licensed intervention specialist and with the help of other people close to the individual needing the intervention. In some sense, interventions are very successful because although drugs and alcohol have essentially taken over a person’s life, it is still hard for the abuser to be confronted with his/her own behavior and know how it has affected others.
As the owner and certified intervention specialist for Appropriate Sentencing Services and Drug Abuse Interventions I have been doing interventions for over a 13 years using the latest techniques available. I have performed over 250+ successful interventions.
When meeting with the families during the pre-intervention phase I have witnessed the desperate faces the moms and dads wore in regards to their daughter or son and the wives that show pictures of the alcoholic husband and their children before he became a drunk, how quick they are to say that he's a good father when sober.
The truth is that without an intervention most clients will go on to experience several years of misery, second and third DUI's or arrests and lose the homes they bought, go through divorces, seperations and even lose career jobs. Some even die.
The emphasis of our site is on providing intervention services for drugs, alcohol and eating disorders to the families who have someone that is abusing some substance. We have handled all types of drug interventions, cocaine, crack, heroin, speed, valiums, barbiturates, ecstasy and alcohol. We will research the drug type the addict is using, and develop a strategy for dealing with the individual addict. Each addict will develop a pattern from the drugs they choose to abuse. By analyzing the choices of drugs, we can come up with a successful strategy for confronting the addict. While a heroin addict and methamphetamine addict both have a serious problem, they will handle a group of people trying to make them quit their drug habits differently. This topic is certainly of interest to you.
